As we go on, we will help you know more about growing wheatgrass and how to take care of it so that you will also be able to enjoy its organic goodness without the disgusting molds.

If you want high-quality wheatgrass, you should go to special health stores because ordinary stores don't usually sell the seeds. Most people choose to buy their wheatgrass online and in rare organic health stores because they are assured of the quality. Once you have bought your seeds, it's about time to start knowing more about planting and growing wheatgrass.

To begin growing them, you must first soak your wheatgrass seeds in water for around eight hours. Before the soaking time ends, prepare a 10x20 inch seed tray with around 2 inches in depth. Then, you can proceed to add moist compost, peat moss, and we also recommend that you use an organic grower that will optimize your planting progress.

Next step would be draining and rinsing the seeds twice. Scatter the seeds around the soil but not far from each other; let them have close contact without really coinciding to let them grow well and freely. The peat moss shouldn't be too moist so that it won't hinder your grass by acquiring molds.

When watering your seeds, make sure you do it lightly and equally to also prevent disturbing the chemical interaction happening between the peat moss and the seeds. Make sure that your growing the seeds and peat moss are still moist but not wet. This is a very important part in tending your grass to ensure its healthy growth.

Next, the tray should be covered with another tray or if possible, a bubble wrap or a moist used newspaper to keep it protected from outer harmful particles. Shedding your tray seals the moisture necessary to grow your grass well and prevents it from completely drying up or from growing unnecessary molds. Normally, the grass are already inches in height after three days.

Your continuously growing wheatgrass requires indirect sun exposure to boost its development with the right amount of nutrition it provides for the plant. If you use direct sunlight on your grass, it will dry up the moist soil bed quickly and hinder it from continuously growing therefore destroying the whole process. Sunlight boosts the growth of chlorophyll in the plant as it makes it greener and fills in for more than half of its benefits compared to its initial yellowish look when it first sprouted.

It is recommended that you harvest the growing wheatgrass once it is around 7 inches in height because this is their so-called peak when it comes to nutritional content. When you harvest, trim just a centimeter or two from the surface of the soil with a simple knife or even scissors and rinse the crop very well before you start juicing it to ensure you of a happy, healthy wheatgrass experience. Once you've done these things, feel free to enjoy the refreshing and rejuvenating goodness a glass of wheatgrass juice gives. - 31843
